Hoe Alles Begon
In 2009, we noticed something frustrating: students in the Netherlands were struggling with language instruction that didn’t match real-world needs. Most programs focused on grammar rules without teaching how Dutch actually works in daily conversations.
Het Probleem
International students arrived in Dutch classrooms unprepared for conversational speed and cultural context. Textbooks didn’t capture the nuances of how people really speak—informal contractions, regional variations, and modern slang.

We built a curriculum centered on real scenarios: ordering coffee, navigating bureaucracy, workplace communication. Every lesson uses authentic Dutch materials—news articles, podcast clips, actual street conversations. That’s how students actually learn.

We use real Dutch—news clips, podcasts, social media, street signs, menus. Not sanitized textbook Dutch. You’ll encounter the actual language you’ll face when you’re living here, shopping, or working.

Classes run mornings, evenings, and weekends. We know students are juggling work, university, and life. You can choose schedules that actually fit. We’ve got intensive programs and part-time tracks.
